With everything going on the Nurse that took care of my mom and handled our whole old deal was Nurse Kim….. THIS EXPERIENCE MET AND EXCEEDED ANYTHING, MY FAMILY COULD EVER ASK FOR. She Was like family. It was a real sense of caring every time she walked in the room and every time we spoke, whether it was on the phone or in person. I just wanna say thank you very much. I can honestly say we felt the love with each and every interaction. Keith

Affinity Hospice was absolutely phenomenal with support always being available, caring, and professional. They took so much burden off of our shoulders at a time where we couldn't even think straight much less give the amount of care that they provided!!! They took care of everything from beginning to end with very little paperwork or hassles. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart!!!!

I would be very careful with my loved one under Palliative Care with this branch of Affinity. At first I was so thankful for the help. A nurse had their Doctor to prescribe, Morphine, Ativan and Zofran for her COPD air starvation, without consulting with her Vanderbilt Lung Specialist. My Mother was very sensitive to the low dosage of Morphine and was continuously throwing up! I thought she was dehydrated and had IV treatment for dehydration done. The Nurses knew I thought it was dehydration. Never once did they mention it could be a side affect of the Morphine. I figured it out. Stopped the services. I made the mistake to trust them with her. She lost 20 pounds over this period of time. That she didn't have to lose. When I saw her changing clothes I thought... this looks like Elder Abuse!!! I requested Management to contact me and they never did. I will be going further to report our experience. If she continued under their "Palliative Care" she would have died probably from starvation from not being able to eat! I have her moved next door to us and she is thriving with Vanderbilt Doctors for her health concerns. No care team is needed. She does have Physical Therapy only.
