What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
Nurses don’t show up when they say they well in the social workers are absolute garbage. This is not a loving choice for your family members.
We tried everything for my dad. We went through home health, an inpatient stay and finally while sitting in the hospital asking to go home, we made the decision for hospice for my dad. I know hospice well, but when it’s your dad, it’s completely different. The care this team showed was amazing. They were on call for us 24/7. They paid for everything dad needed. Their help allowed my dad to stay home with my stepmom. They treated us with kindness and respect. Parkinson’s is a terrible disease that robs a person of their dignity. But this team showed up and walked us through every step of the way. They were not treating a patient, they were treating my dad. I will always remember their hearts, especially Stephanie, Saundra, Lori and Crystal. They even fell in love with my dad’s dog! They wanted to learn about us and I am forever grateful.
Horrible experience! Minimum care nurses are very nice however, when you really really need them it took two hours and several phone calls for someone to show up and that was to pronounce him deceased. Very disappointed with the system. Yes, it is end of life care however I am not a nurse and they expect you to be the nurse and when you call them because you don’t know what to do and they take two hours to come only to pronounce him dead it’s unacceptable. Telling us that his life would have lasted only a day or so more with a machine that worked was not consoling.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
