Aveanna Hospice - Decatur

I can not say enough good things about Aveana Hospice of Decatur. Aveana, start caring for my father in 2025. It could be longer; I don't recall the exact time. Let me start with James, he is my father's nurse and a fine nurse indeed! He handles my dad perfectly, and I can tell that my dad trusts him completely. He listens to all my concerns and handles each one with kindness and knowledge. He guides me through the steps of dad's dementia so I know what to expect next and how Aveana will be there to help take care of the process. Kissenger is Dad's bather extraordinaire, an angel! She keeps dad looking and smelling so good. I don't have to do anything when she comes; I trust her completely! Last but certainly not least is Christian, our social worker. As a caregiver, I get tired, I get stressed, and overwhelmed, and she is so attentive to my needs! I love our chats! Even though she comes to access dad and make sure all his needs are being met, she does the same for me, too! So, in short, she is vital to my well-being, too. I have always heard that a company is only as good as the people who represent it. With Hospice care being a very delicate, emotional, and personal experience... it is so IMPORTANT to have a team of caregivers who treat their patients with kindness and respect. Thank you, Aveana!

Kelly Foster had was my mom's bath aide and my mom loved her. She is an excellent, caring, person and y'all should never let her go. She is the best.
