Southern Care Hospice in Evergreen AL is the absolute best! They were there for us day and night for 2 years when we were caring for my grandfather. You will never find a better group. My grandfather loved everyone at Southern Care, but we all know Christina was his favorite 😊 The whole team of nurses and aides not only provided excellent medical support, but also emotional support for me and my entire family. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire staff. We are forever grateful for Wilby’s girls❤️
There is not enough space to write what needs to be written to describe the care given by Southern Hospice. The first day they arrived brought feelings of satisfaction that all would be taken care of to make sure our mother received the best care and was comfortable. She was treated like a queen with the best there was to offer. Not only were they there to meet the needs of our mother but also for the rest of the family and that included three generations beyond her! They took the time to not just meet us but to learn about our family and become part of us!! Heather and Brittany ,as well as the other staff , were incredible to be on call 24/7 to meet the needs of everyone.They took the time to listen and let our mother share stories from her 98 years which she enjoyed doing. They took care of all needs medically but at the same time gave their time just being there. She always looked forward to their visits and time together.One of our favorite memories was a Valentines party where they took their personal time to have a party with her. She had so much fun entertaining as we grew up and this gave her another chance to “ entertain “ as we were together listening to more stories that she shared. Our mother as well as the rest of our family “ loved them good”- and still do!
SouthernCare Hospice provided such a compassionate and comforting experience during a very difficult time for our family. Their team goes above and beyond to care not only for their patients, but also for the families who love them. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our loved one was comfortable and treated with dignity. We are so grateful for their care, patience, and heartfelt compassion. I would highly recommend SouthernCare Hospice to anyone in need of supportive, end-of-life care.
