I am so thankful SouthernCare came into our lives when they did. I cannot say enough nice things about our nurse, caregivers, and other support staff. Sadly my father has passed, but they gave amazing care and without their assistance, we could not have done for him what we did. My dad has been with this hospice service for one year. I have had almost constant problems of service and visitations. In the last 3 months, I never know if anyone is coming, or who may be coming, and I have to constantly ask and beg to get supplies. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Alabama Department of Public Health over neglect and abandonment because my dad has not had an aide visit in 3 weeks and only one nurse visit in the last month, despite my constant phone calls and complaints to management.
