My momma was on hospice with this company. Even though we weren't on the hospice journey very long the company was wonderful. Two employees that were the best was Colleen (nurse) and Celeste (aid). The nurse Colleen was great everything we needed rather it be medicine or hospital bed she got for us. If I was unsure of something she answered my questions. She is great. Celeste was wonderful too. She was so kind and patient with my momma. Her second time coming over my momma was great ful for her she was giving her hugs and saying I love you before she left every time she came over. From the beginning until the end they were both great and I know my momma and myself appreciated everything they done for her and myself.

Southern Hospice Beacon took amazing care of my grandmother. Nurse Brittany was the definition of what we envisioned a hospice nurse to be. Anyone can assess a patient, call doctors and place orders, but only a special person can provide that caring nature that makes your loved one feel like they matter as well as the family. She embodies eveything our family envisioned of a hospice nurse and as the family of Viva Roberson we appreciate her more than she will ever know for that caring nature she provided us.

Wonderful caring people. Markita and Amy were my Moms nurses and both were so good to her. They went above and beyond to give my Mom the best care possible. We also had Stephanie for a couple of our visits. She was very sweet. Mom loved Markita and Amy both like they were family. I became my Moms caregiver when I was only 9 years old. I was 43 when she went to be with the Lord. Knowing that I was losing her was so hard. I can't count the times that the only shoulder I had to lean on was Markita's or Amy's. They were always there when I needed them. Our whole family fell in love with these ladies and we're so thankful we were blessed to have them through that most difficult time. I have recommended this company to several people and will continue to do so. Hands down the very best in my opinion.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
