About Gentiva - Conway
Gentiva - Conway is the Conway office families turn to when hospice care needs to happen at home. A nurse, an aide, and a social worker visit the house. They help with comfort, medicines, and the practical questions that come up in a hard week. Care from this office is for families in Cleburne, Cleveland, Conway, Faulkner, Lonoke, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Stone, Van Buren, White, and Yell counties. This hospice program has served families since 1996. A family in Conway can ask the office how care starts and what the team will do in the home. The Conway team comes to the home rather than asking the family to manage the hard days alone.

Thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for caring for my friend Pamela Ussery of Morrilton. The nurses were friendly, informative, caring, and compassionate. Caring for Pam was my first hospice experience. They calmed my fears and anxieties, educated me on the preconceived notions I had about hospice, what it was, how it worked, and what the dying experiencing would be like. It helped me to remain calm in the face of, what was for me, the unknown. I would like to thank them for answering all of my questions, even in the middle of the night. I thank them for their understanding when I would call them when I should have probably called the main number, lol. Thank you to Tonya who helped with Buttons! If you see this and ya know.. ya know! Thank you for your help. Daisha, you were more than kind and generous with your time, help, and conversation. Baylee, thank you, too!! You were so awesome. Thank you, Chaplain Jackie who prayed for us every morning. It was important to me that Pam begin each day with a prayer as her eternal salvation was every bit as important to me as her life on this earth. Thank you for those prayers. Brooke, thank you for jumping in, all hands on deck, to help me ready Pam for the funeral home after her passing. It's hard to do those kinds of jobs with rheumatoid hands anymore. Lastly, to anyone else who may have come and I've forgotten your name, just know that I've not forgotten your service. Thank you. You were all such a great team!
Wonderful people all the way around. A signed card was sent after my grandmother passed. So glad my family could count on gentiva!
I am SO disappointed in this hospice agency. The nurses have ZERO compassion for their patients or their families. They stay about 5-10 minutes, more closely 5 minutes. They offer no feedback or advice, when you ask, they are rude and condescending. The “executive director” at the Searcy office is not approachable. When trying to talk to her about how sad I am about my father dying, she hung up on me and when I called right back, she had told the receptionist to tell me that she was in a meeting. Unbelievable! I would not want anyone else dying family member of friend y be a patient with this hospice!!!!

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
