I can’t say enough positive things about the entire staff. My dad came here because he was dying. Every single staff member was so amazing! From the sweet lady at the front desk to all the nursing staff!! The facility is so clean and welcoming! My kids brought my grands and they had a place to take them to play! I can not praise them enough! I wish I could remember everyone’s names! Thank you Kimberly, Cheryl, Linda and everyone else!!! Thank you everyone for the love and care and for being there with us when the time came and crying with us. Just thank you everyone! This was a crappy time but every single staff member gave us a bit of peace! Thank u!!
Don’t recommend this place to anyone please take your loved ones elsewhere . I feel like they killed my mom . I watched her go from being able to speak and swallow medicine to not saying anything in a day she was only there 2 days days and by day 3 she was gone . They overdosed her with morphine . Please TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES ELSEWHERE!!! This is the worst hospice facility in the state of ARKANSAS!! There staff needs to be looked into !! .
I never leave reviews but after my experience with the nurse practitioner here(she rudely said she is the only nurse practitioner at this facility when I asked for someone else), I am leaving this review so hopefully someone sees this and takes their loved one elsewhere so they don’t have to go through what my family and I did. We chose to bring my grandfather here for his final days. Overall, the care was very good; however, the nurse practitioner, Kasey Kane, was absolutely awful/straight up heartless. As we were told all day that she would be in and inform us of how he was doing and provide an estimated time frame how much longer he had- so we could inform my uncle (his son) so he could make a decision on when to come from out of state. When she entered the room she was cold, gruff and talked down to us. She refused to examine him stating she didn’t want to disturb him. She refused to answer any questions as she did not know anything about him. When confronted with our dissatisfaction she stated that we were welcome to take him someplace else. She showed no compassion or warmth that hospice is known for. If my grandfather was not in the active dying stage we would have moved to another facility; however, a move in that stage would be extremely hard on him and the family. It would have taken his last hours away from us spending time with him. Losing a loved one is extremely hard and having the person that is supposed to help make his transition and the families loss as peaceful and as painless as possible did the exact opposite. She had us extremely upset, dealing with her behavior rather than the focus being on my grandfather. This is not what hospice is known for. She should not be permitted to work in the hospice setting. In talking with staff, she is know for that type of behavior. Our family will be filing complaints with the Arkansas nursing board. Hopefully some action will be taken that will prevent this from happening to anyone else!
