At first, this place seemed like they genuinely wanted to help. However, after several weeks of my dad being in hospice with them, I’ve come to realize they don’t seem to care. It feels like they’re more focused on signing up as many people as possible than providing the care they promise. We were told my dad would receive 24/7 care, but that simply hasn’t been true. The only thing that’s available 24/7 is a phone number to reach an on-call nurse. The nurse used to visit twice a week, but now she only calls to ask how my dad is doing. When she does come to the house, she only asks my dad how he’s feeling. She doesn’t check his vital signs or perform any type of assessment. The social worker told us she would help find a nursing home for my dad, but after 2 days of supposedly searching for nearby facilities, she wanted me to sign paperwork for a place without visiting it first. If you have a loved one who unfortunately needs hospice care, please do your research before choosing a provider. There are other hospice organizations that may provide the level of care and support your family truly need.

I want to thank everyone for the care , the love, dedication, support and professionalism that was given to my uncle and all our family. Was a difficult time but we felt so blessed, relieved and peace for having you guys, always answering our calls , questions and whenever we need something home or hospital. Bristol Hospice was exceptional during my mother’s final days, and the care, compassion, and resources they provided brought tremendous comfort to our family during an incredibly difficult time. Their team was attentive, supportive, and consistently treated my mother with dignity and kindness. We were especially grateful for how responsive and reassuring they were throughout the process, ensuring our family felt informed and cared for every step of the way.
