Cornerstone Hospice - The Villages

Our son Michael received the most wonderful, kind, and loving care at the Villages Hospice House. It made his passing a little easier on his family that were there every day until his passing on August 15. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff and the beautiful setting for our beloved son. Thank you so much.

Dear Faithfilled Servants, It’s been a journey filled with tears, sprinkled with God sightings every step of the way and ending with moms arrival home on Easter Sunday. What a beautiful blessing to arrive at heaven's gates on resurrection Sunday, entering the gates of heaven sinless all because of the blood of Jesus and His victory over death. Each of you were an intricate part of mom’s Heavenly entry. Each of you gave of yourself to keep mom comfortable, pain free, safe and pure of death's stench for her entry into Heaven. Each of you cared for our mom as if she was yours. Such selfless compassion allowed us to grieve, laugh and cry as we relived many treasured memories and made a few new ones along the way. There are no words that can thank you enough for all you did and all you each do every day. As Jesus has healed our hearts we wanted to take the time to thank His servants and let you know we saw Him in each of you. Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Your words, your wisdom, your smiles, your compassion and your hugs allowed us to see Jesus through each of you. Thank you for not hiding your gifts beneath a basket, but sharing them with us as we said our temporary goodbye to a mom we dearly loved. Today we have joy because Jesus worked through each of His willing servants who said Yes to serving. We pray for beautiful blessings to be sprinkled over each of you for all you say and all you do. Blessings to all of you, Mike, Tamara (Scully), Lisa (Otterbacher) and John Noble.

This is the most gorgeous facility. Excellent staff & doctors. It's definitely where you'd want your loved ones looked after. Kind, caring and patient centered. It's secure as well. They give you 24/7 access to come and go to visit, stay, spend as much time as you like. Friends and family are welcome. I'm so glad my grandma is here getting cared for. My grandmother was a nurse in the operating room for her career. The nurses at Cornerstone surprised her with a Nightingale ceremony that was beautiful. It honored her life service as a nurse. They go above and beyond. Jay, my grandmother's main nurses aid is the best. My grandmother adores her. Everyone has the best attitude. We were able to put her bed out on the screen porch so she could get fresh air, listen to the birds and look at the palm trees as well.
