Caring for my father-in-law during his final days was one of the hardest experiences our family has ever gone through, but the Gentiva Hospice team made a lasting difference in how we walked through that time. Ericka was such a blessing to us. The way she cared for him during his baths was always gentle, respectful, and full of dignity. She brought a sense of calm and kindness into our home that we will never forget. Becky was also incredibly thoughtful and compassionate, always stepping in with a warm heart and a willingness to help in any way she could. The nurses—Kristen, Megan, and Jordan—were truly extraordinary. Not only were they skilled and attentive, but they cared on a deeply human level. They took the time to listen, to comfort, and to guide us through moments we didn’t feel prepared for. They showed so much patience and empathy, not just to my father-in-law, but to our entire family. We will always be grateful for the love, dignity, and compassion they showed during such a painful and meaningful time in our lives. They helped bring peace and comfort when we needed it most, and that is something we will carry with us forever.

When we decided to go on hospice we chose gentiva. They were very helpful from the start letting us make the decisions they were best for our family after a few visits they became family to us. They were always a phone call away if we needed them. They were great from the start all the way to the end. Could not have asked for a better group of people.
