What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
The experience with this hospice was amazing. They went far beyond our families expectations and made my grandfather as comfortable as possible the time he was there! Very clean facility, clean rooms, nice views for when you just need to walk away and take a breath. Nurses were amazing kept my grandpa clean. The care for the family as well was amazing even had an emotional support dog that prayed with us! I would give them 100 stars if I could! Thank you all!
I have one regret about this place, that’s that didn’t learn every attendant’s name, and exact spelling. Brittany, Delicia and Josette are 3 that I remember. I went through the experience of spending 5 days here with my mother. She died on the sixth day, early morning. Every single person here went above and beyond. I felt welcome. They never made me feel like my mom was taking up space. They actually do try to make the patients comfortable. They attempt to feed and hydrate them. They give the patients baths daily. Reposition them often. I truly felt as if they had my mom’s best interest at heart. I slept on a couch type thing that folds into a bed. One of the attendants would make my bed each night. Until I finally told them to stop, they’re doing enough already. They cleaned the room daily. I got fresh sheets, towels and wash cloths each day. There is a shower in each room for visitors to use. In the common area they have Keurig, microwave, fridge, tables, and vending machines. A nice outside area with a view of the lake. I really can’t say enough about this place. I am from Joplin,MO. When a person goes into hospice there, there is a hurry up and die attitude. Need the bed for the next person. George Forsythe Hospice House makes you and your loved ones feel as close to home as possible.
A good shepherd spent his last breaths at Good Sheppard Hospice! A fresh, cold cup of water in my family's walk through the dessert. This place was what you would expect every other place to be. The service your loved ones deserve. Specially as a family of a Christian Warrior. Our Pastor, our father, our grandfather, Rvdo. Guillermo Padin was treated with the utmost respect and wellness care. Not even 4 hour of him being there and the beautiful hard working staff had already bathed him twice and had him clean and smelling good all the time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the service, the random individual couseling, but overall thank you for the prayers! God bless you
