I am very disappointed with this company. My mother was sent home from the hospital under this company's supervision; they were supposed to "care for her" and ensure she was "free from pain." We were never assigned a nurse. The social worker visited the day after my mother arrived home—but only to drop off a book and a white box. The only person who really paid attention to her needs was the personal care assistant, though she was only able to visit once because my mother was in pain. We called for assistance one night, and the nurse who answered the phone was very brusque and unfeeling. When my mother passed away, they sent an unprofessional nurse who didn't fill out the papers in front of us, and gave incorrect instructions to the funeral home staff. The social worker didn't even bother to call us.

Gulfside Hospice is a wonderful facility to offer care for your loved ones. The entire process was so easy and the staff is amazing. I was so happy that I reached out to them to assist with my mother's care. I highly recommend Hospice for family members needing help caring for their loved ones.

The worst experience ever for my mother. Never followed thru with anything. The day she died we asked to put her in the hospice facility because she was vomiting blood and bleeding internally while the in home hospice social worker was there. She said she didn’t meet the criteria. Are you kidding me. I have had hospice care for 2 late husbands that were amazing. If you want to shorten your loved one’s life, use this company . Totally incompetent and uncaring. And stop sending me donation letters. It will be a cold day in Hell that I will send you money. Despicable people.
