Moments Hospice - Miami

I couldn’t be more grateful to have had Nurse Carla as my mom’s hospice nurse. My mother was under Moments Hospice’s care for about six weeks, and she truly received the best care we could have ever hoped for. The ALF made the right choice by referring us to Moments Hospice, even though the hospital initially wanted her to go with a different hospice company. From the moment I met Carla, I knew she would care for my mom as if she were her own family. Her compassion, kindness, professionalism, and genuine dedication gave our family comfort and peace during such a difficult time. Thank you, Moments Hospice, for everything you did for my mom, and for having such an incredible nurse and team. We will always be grateful for the care and support you provided.

I am extremely upset and disappointed by this situation. My father spent an entire night coughing without receiving the nursing support that was requested. This failure to respond to an urgent hospice care concern is deeply disturbing and unacceptable.I find this situation completely unacceptable. I made an urgent request for assistance on behalf of my father, who is receiving hospice care, and I was assured that a nurse would contact me. Not only did no one respond, but the call itself appears to have disappeared from the hospice records. This raises serious concerns regarding documentation practices, communication procedures, and the handling of urgent patient-care requests. I am requesting a full investigation into this matter, including a review of all incoming call logs, documentation records, and staff communications related to my father's care on the evening of June 23, 2026. I would also like a written explanation as to how an urgent call requesting nursing assistance could have no record in the system and why no nurse responded to assess my father.

I have had the distinct privilege of collaborating with an exceptional nurse, Carla. Over the past two years, her presence in our facility has been invaluable in supporting residents and their families during their final days of transition. She consistently demonstrates empathy, care, love, and unwavering support.
