VITAS Inpatient Center in Rockledge
The Rockledge center is VITAS’s freestanding house for Brevard County, opened in 2019 beside the Riverwalk. It has 14 private rooms. There is a family area, two kitchens, a quiet room, screened lanais, wireless internet, and cable. The goal of the stay is to get symptoms settled so the patient can go home.

I really appreciate all the care my mom received from her nurse Kim and Dr. Bennett from team 184. Kim was wonderful on always sending a text to keep the family informed over the last 6 months. Her compassion and care for our mom and our family in her final days are greatly appreciated. To Dr. Bennett thank you for coming out to check on mom so often. Team manager Ana thank you for listening and your compassion when I called. The on call staff/ nurses on the weekends and after hours were always so supportive when called and helped to calm me in stressful times. Thank you for all you do.
My mother recently passed away and I am so grateful to the entire Vitas team that supported her throughout the long journey. From the weekly check-in visits by an experienced RN who provided follow-up status to the caring chaplain that reached-out to me in mom’s final days to the highly professional staff that was with mom when she crossed-over from this world. I was so impressed with the high level of professionalism, combined with such deep compassion, exhibited by all of the Vitas team members. Each and everyone has a heart of gold - thank you!
