⭐ 1-Star Review My mother, Margaret Mimbs, passed away in May 2025 under the care of Enhabit Hospice — and what my family experienced was heartbreaking and inexcusable. Nurses were unreliable, medications were delayed, and communication was poor throughout her time with them. In her final days, her comfort medications (morphine and Valium) were missing, and I was shockingly instructed by a nurse over the phone to crush and administer my father’s leftover hydrocodone to her using a syringe. I was forced to take on roles no grieving daughter should have to. I’ve filed formal complaints with the Georgia Department of Community Health, who confirmed an active investigation and a site visit. I’ve also contacted the Georgia Board of Nursing, CMS, and other oversight agencies. Hospice care should be compassionate, consistent, and dignified. Enhabit Hospice failed my mother and left our family traumatized. I share this to help others make informed choices and to demand better for families facing end-of-life care decisions.

My personal experience with Enhabit I s nothing short of perfect. They helped me care for my mother-in-law and guided my husband and myself in making decisions that were new to us. We would definitely recommend them. Our experience with Patricia, Toya and Rhonda left us feeling supported, cared for and we knew they were there to help with whatever we or my mother in law needed. Each member was compassionate and loving towards each of us. ❤️ Thank you!!

Enhabit Hospice is without doubt the most lackluster bunch of individuals that I believe I have encountered in quite some time. They are all about having ipads and phones but short on actually performing the duties they were hired for regarding the actual care of the patient, personally I would not have them taking care of my dogs,as they might actually have to do something physical. You would think it was some kind of glam job instead of being the ones to actually touch the patient, too many bosses and not enough actual caregivers.I would not recommend this company to anyone under any circumstances.
