Traditions Health is the best! All interactions have been very positive. Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer Black has been a great influence. She is intuitive to the family situation as well as being medically knowledgeable. Mr. Morgan responded to her positively and was always happy to see her. He spoke with her about being tired and ready to go home to Jesus! She goes above and beyond caring for the patient and family. Mr. Morgan had a terminal diagnosis and she walked us through it both at home and the days he was hospitalized and moved to rehab! Jennifer Black, NP is the ultimate caring Professional! We love her! She even attended his funeral services after he passed. Her support of me as the grieving spouse has been wonderful! She brought me a framed picture that was taken when we entered the Hospice/Palliative Care journey! Thank you to Jennifer and all of the Traditions Health Staff!

The team at Traditions are a wonderful group of people to invite to be a part of your family at times where it’s challenging to even look ahead for what is best for your loved one. Our family member battled dementia for years and was coming to the end of her wonderful life. All the signs and reading pointed towards needing hospice service but I was unsure how to progress forward and hesitant if I was even making the right decision to look into hospice care. I spoke with our memory care facility nurse manager and she referred Traditions to meet with. In the initial meeting I met with a nurse and PRN who answered my questions and explained everything clearly and in detail with us. That was our first meeting with Dawn. Our last meeting with Dawn was bedside as our loved one passed. I know the team has other staff that assisted with our loved one’s care and needs but when there was an issue or question it was always Dawn who I reached out to. Dawn would update me on the overall health of our loved one on her routine visits. Dawn would help members of our family come to terms with what was coming. Dawn would take time to explain things to family over the phone who couldn’t come visit during those critical moments and it was Dawn who became forever a part of us when she rearranged her schedule to be with us when our loved one passed. Dawn is forever linked with us and family and we couldn’t be blessed more to have her as well as the entire staff care for our loved one during the final months of life. While you may not get Dawn for your needs in contacting Traditions, I write this review confident that the team will care for your loved one, explain as many times as needed what is best for your loved one, and treat your loved one with love as if they were family. You might end up finding your own “Dawn” with them and adding another member of the family to the group. Thanks always to Traditions, the caregivers who provided services to our loved one, pastors, Brianna who always made sure we didn’t need anything and to our Dawn who blessed us with grace and showed love to each of us always. Traditions Hospice have been amazing to me and my family. Their Social worker Breanna has been by far the sweetest, helpful, and very dependable. I am so thankful for her and the rest of the team, Brad and Celeste. If I ever need additional care, I will be having my family to contact traditions to provide care for us. They have walked along with me for the entire end of life journey for my mom. Thank you Tradition Health!
