The entire Gentiva staff was kind and compassionate while providing excellent care to my husband. I especially want to thank Amy, Jasmine, Samantha, and Lisa for the comfort and care they provided my husband and my family during this difficult time.
Please, if at all possible DO NOT use this company. The care given to my Father was at best, mediocre. The Social worker Melissa in the Colquitt area, had terrible communication and was not attentive or caring. The nurses communication was also horrible and they did not show up to two separate appointments, did not follow our intake request and much more. The icing on the cake was that no one (even after communicating with Gentiva twice) came to pick up his hospital bed, toilet, and numerous other items for more than a week. My Father passed away 10 days ago. The items are still here as I write this review. We have been told that a company would be here to retrieve the items, last week. We have had our Fathers Home-going service but, our family has to continue to walk around our home with reminders of this horrible experience. I will make sure that no one, I know, uses this company.
All of the staff (nurses and office staff) are so helpful and caring. They have been such a wonderful help in a difficult time.
