What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
Do not recommend. On call nurse seemed completely incompetent. Medications called to wrong pharmacy. No physician in person assessment. Jennifer our case manager was super nice and truly seemed to care. After the passing of my family member, I had to call and request the medical equipment be removed. Once I spoke with the office manager, things seemed to be handled. No one to my knowledge reached out to my parent or family after the loss of our family member. As a medical professional, I was highly disappointed in their services and do not and will not recommend their services.
I have had communication with Hearth Hospice since November when they came to our home to evaluate my husband. Sabrina Pepper came and was so sweet. She explained in detail what hospice would do. He did not qualify at the time but I was so impressed with the way they talked to my husband who has dementia. I honestly put off putting him on hospice until recently but they have been in touch with me right along. I never felt pressured only that they cared. And they have been taking amazing care of him. He is always bathed and they actually have taken him off a lot of meds which is great. He is very confused with his dementia but without being on so many meds he is able to communicate some. Again, Hearth Hospice is amazing. Thank you Sabrina Pepper and Kerri.
I wish I could post 0 for stars. Please run from this company which does not put their patients first. My mom has fallen multiple times lately. She does have severe dementia Even with the nurses supposedly holding her she would fall. . This past Tuesday evening she fell and I could not pick her up. I had to call for help. She complained of neck and back pain. The paramedics took her to get an x- ray. I was told from the start she could go anywhere to get x-rays. So we went and she was just badly bruised and all is ok, Thank God!. Today, I find out from a cna that she had been transferred? I ask transferred to what. Apparently cause she had X-rays they revoked her services cause she went to a hospital In Tennessee. That’s only like 10 minutes up the road. There is no other hospital in this area. She could have x-rays but if she was admitted her service would revoke till she came home. She was not admitted as we just went to get x-rays. No one from there office even called us to let us know , no nurse ever called to check on my mom either. When I called to verify the head lady over office made one excuse after another. She did fall a few weeks ago which was bad. They did bring out an x ray machine but only took x -rays of her forearm not where she was hurt. I had to get them to come back out cause she was swelling bad on the back around her shoulder blade and could not use her arm. They did come back out and claimed nothing was broken. However the paramedics was concerned when they seen it Tuesday as well as the er doctor. So them doing x-rays was a joke here at home. I was not happy with this company from the start as there was a lack of communication from them. I personally had to purchase most of her supplies cause no one would bring them out and if they did it was always the wrong stuff. Please don’t get your loved one with this company that lacks empathy for their patients and is only there to get Medicare money. My mom deserves so much more and thankfully we are getting her set up with an amazing company. Even the new company was appalled with the records and care mom received. The head lady is this office has absolutely no empathy and could care less about these patients.
