Hospice Care Options - Eastman

The Hospice staff was AMAZING!! I don't know how we would have gotten through this without them. I was alittle skeptical about going with Hospice because I was under the impression they only handled end of life and my mom was not at that point. Boy was I wrong! I'm so glad I dug deeper and talked to other people! They do so much more! -The nurses gave excellent care to my mom, they were professional but loving, very knowledgeable and so caring and patient not just with my mom but with the family! They did all the coordinating of medication and medical supplies. Awesome does not even come close to the word to describe all they did. -The home health aids were awesome! I could not of taken care of my mom without them. They taught me everything I needed to know to take care of mom throughout her needs! They are my family, thank you! -The counseling specialist was so caring and personable! She was so easy to talk to and very knowledgeable of other services and needs available! -The Chaplin was our rock! He was able to open my mom up, talk to her about her experiences with the lord and family! He made her laugh and smile! She looked forward to their visit. He listened to the families concerns and prayed with us. He gave encouraging words and helped us cope with the different stages that mom was going through which was a comfort! -The staff at the office were so helpful and prompt at getting what we needed! -That is just a few things but there were lots more they provided! I highly recommend their services 100%!
