My mom passed away there on February 22, 2026 at 9:55pm. I’ve always heard about how wonderful and supportive hospice is. All I can say is our pet Rabbit had to be put to sleep 2 weeks ago and the compassion of the veterinary staff was absolutely 5 Star! They treated our pet better than how our Mom and family was treated while Mom was on hospice at Hospice Satilla. I think I’m still in shock. I can’t fully explain the way we were treated. Disappointed in hospice care. Living with regret for sending her to this hospice house. It would have been more peaceful to pass in the hospital
In the short week my dad was on hospice we probably saw about 5 nurses and 2 CNAs and they were all so caring. They all treated my dad as an actual person, like he was their own family member, not just another patient. They were all eager to help me figure out what I was supposed to do as a caregiver, they responded quickly when I would call, and they never seemed to tire of answering my never-ending questions. Hospice care is not an easy topic to discuss with someone but I would highly recommend going with Hospice Satilla to make it a little less difficult.
They are the best place ever that takes the best of care to your Loved ones during their last days...They are also amazing and so supportive to the family and are like family to you..I can never Thank them enough for everything they did for my mama and me. Everyone who works for them are definitely angels. There home care nurses, and aids are so Loving and she Definitely Loved them and so do I and I highly recommend them for your Loved ones 🙏🏻😇❤️ I just noticed for some reason it is showing that I manage At Hospice I never said that I only gave my honest review on my experience there during my Mama's final days 💔😢🙏🏼🥰💜❤️💙😘
