I’m super late but I And My Family would love to Thank You Guy’s Who Actively Participated In Getting My Uncle (Linton Ardoin) get back to his Apt to Pass On Peacefully As He Wanted! The Nurses Were Awesome (In Every Way) We could not have asked for a Better Team To Come And Care And See About Our Uncle! You All Are A Blessing I Hope You Know! Sincerely Elsie and Family God Bless Each And Everyone There We are Greatful for the (2) nurses came out for Death Visit so Caring and making sure we were okay Thank You All Service Date 3/21/25 Passing 3/24/25
The only positive things I can say regarding this agency with my late mother’s care is that they provided the medical equipment with no issues, Annette, RN was wonderful—but we only saw her twice, the CNA we had was caring and compassionate. The rest of the experience was horrendous. They made an already difficult time even worse day after day. I will never, ever recommend them.
In April 2024 my dad was suffering greatly with Alzheimer’s. I was desperate for help before being referred to Teresa, then everything changed. She returned my call on the weekend, after hours, did what she said she was going to do and went above and beyond to connect me to the right people fast that helped get my dad admitted to the hospital under hospice care where he had his final days in comfort. The whole team, Angela, RN; Amy, SW; Dr Brandon Fontenot and his NP were amazing. They communicated with Drs, nurses, and everyone involved taking so much off my shoulders. I wish we had found this group sooner as we had been through some very rough days prior to them stepping in to help. Thank you Theresa and the whole team at La Hospice and Palliative Care.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
