What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
We had an amazing experience with High Desert Hospice. From that very first, very difficult phone call, they put us at ease and made a very hard decision simple to navigate. When our dad needed hospice they were there every step of the way. They were a huge support to us, the family as well. Diana was the most amazing and compassionate nurse. She was a great source of information and comfort to both dad and our family. Taylor was such a joy. He would be so kind and efficent for dad's personal care. He was so responsive and always ready with a smile. Clesson was a blessing and was a great source of comfort to dad and I. Margaret was a wonderful asset to our care team. It has been eight months since we have lost dad and thinking back on that difficult time, the care and expertise we got from High Desert is something we will never forget and are truly grateful for. Thank you for your care.
This review is long overdue! The people of High Desert Hospice are compassionate, experienced and responsive. The administration (family) guided us every step of the way. The medical team administered care with compassion, especially Yvonne. My mother received spiritual guidance, which was very important to us. We are extremely grateful to Teresa, who works behind the scenes. Before we called High Desert Hospice, we were desperate, lost and racing against the clock to provide care we knew nothing about. if you’re looking for a family to care of yours, I highly recommend High Desert Hospice.
High Desert Hospice helped my sister and our family through the heart wrenching experience of her death. They were compassionate, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. They provided comprehensive information to her and to all of us when we needed it regarding every issue related to her passing. They even helped us to get her admitted to a perfect Assisted Living Home (Los Andes) where she received round the clock care from individuals in a home-like setting that perfectly met her needs. I will be forever grateful to them for their help in this most difficult time.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
