Luna Vista Hospice

My Dad was a client of Luna Vista for several years. When I first started with them, it was pretty good then Robert took over in the office and he is very rude and hard to talk to. I have heard many complaints from other families of clients about Robert. This company is badly understaffed and can hardly keep people working for them so they never have coverage. If they do, it’s not for the hours needed. They hired another person to work the office name Chris and he is as rude as could be probably after seeing how Robert treats clients families, he’s acting the exact same way. I would dread having to call the office at Luna Vista for any reason. If my dad didn’t need the care, then I wouldn’t need the company, but they’re supposed to be there to help and they caused me more stress than anything. I would not recommend this company at all. I have since switched to a different company. The office people are very nice and easy to talk to. Come to find out they actually pay their Healthcare workers three dollars an hour more starting pay then Luna Vista.

My mother passed away in March at her living center in Albuquerque. Our nurse, Nancy Thompson was fantastic and helped my mom be as comfortable as she possibly could be with the difficulties she was experiencing. In a panic one night, I had to call the support line. Nancy happened to be on call and helped me through my panicky problem with mom, with calmness and expertise. Luna Vista was fantastic to work with. Thank you to all, especially Nancy.

I have had Luna Vista care over the last year. Their services and support have been excellent. From the beginning their support and information has been extremely clear with the information about their company and the nurses. The multiple nurses have been extremely professional and very caring. On top of all that, communication and schedule has been very consistent. Their schedule has remained consistent and always close to on time when scheduling visits. I do need to say that my most recent and longest serving nurse has been outstanding. Heather has been a tremendous support with her recommendations and support with all my issues. I would completely recommend Luna Vista for care. Their team and office support are special. Thank you.
