Amazed to see 5 star reviews; the people were nice, the quaity of supplies was a joke, they could haave been made out of tissue paper..so of course that made my work four times as difficult. The the supposably free five night respite care cost me at least a couple hundred dollars. And of couse whomever I spoke with about the charges (many times & people) was not in charge of that, but they'd get back with me...still waiting. I dumped them after a few months and it was the BEST move I could have made. Have a wonderful Hospice now. Thank God!

I want to thank Debbie, Erica, and Rick for their personal compassionate care for Sharon. They also took the time to help me through a difficult period. I was able to keep her in our home till she passed from her ten year battle with Alzheimer's. The only negative was with a substitute nurse who made insensitive comments insinuating I might have thoughts of keeping pain medication for personal use. I am 78 years old and it was offensive and entirely uncalled for. This happened on the morning Sharon passed. It was the last thing I needed to hear that day. Hospice care is comfort care and she failed in this regard and should find another area of the medical field. This put a stain on an otherwise positive experience with Gentiva.
