Holy Family Home
Our patients may choose to stay at home, in an extended care facility, assisted living or in our residential facility – Holy Family Home – for hospice services. Regardless of where our patients live, Holy Family offers the same holistic approach, using traditional and complimentary comfort therapies that help patients and families cope with the complexity of the advanced illness. As the first residential inpatient hospice facility in the greater Cleveland area, Holy Family Home allows patients and their families to get the extra attention they need when they need it most. Holy Family Home residents have access to compassionate care for their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. We are open to families 24 hours a day.

Our family would like to thank you for the incredible service and attention you gave to my Mother in Law in her last days. Cheryl (her nurse) you are truly an angel. We appreciate your empathy and pure goodness to her and our family.
My father was recently a patient here and spent his final days in peace and comfort, thanks to the hard-working and compassionate staff at Holy Family. The nursing staff was responsive to his every need and checked on him frequently. The pastoral care he received was equally wonderful. Sister Margaret Mary, in particular, was so warm and loving toward him, and I was touched by her kindness. I’m sure she brought him much comfort! In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by how the staff took such good care of my family and I while we kept vigil in my dad’s room. Between my brother, my mom and myself, we never left his side on the weekend he passed. The staff saw to it that I had a pillow and blanket to keep me comfortable while I slept there overnight, and they also brought me a phone charger when I needed it. One day, a staff member cooked my mom a grilled cheese sandwich just for her, because she knew she needed to eat. They promised us they would do anything they could for us, and they certainly did! When my dad passed away, we were all given a hug by our wonderful nurse, and given reassurance that he was no longer in pain. I could tell that one of the other nurses present was fighting back tears, which touched me, as well, knowing that I was not alone in my grief. I really just can’t say enough good things about the wonderful people working there who make it their mission to provide comfort and care to their patients and their families. And the facility, itself, is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Nobody wants to have to bring their loved one to a hospice, but if you should find yourself looking for a facility to provide palliative care for your family member, you really couldn’t ask for a place better than Holy Family.
My grandma loves this place. They give her everything she needs and respects her wishes of the things she doesn't want. She's been able to keep her spirits up which is largely due to this facility. The long visiting hours have been really convenient since I don't live nearby. Staff is very nice and friendly, and River is such a good boy for a therapy dog ♡
