I can not stress enough DO NOT USE MERCY...There were many things that happened but the biggest thing was they took my mom dying at home away from her...my moms final wishes couldn't be met because of a nurse deciding what she wanted to do instead of what the family wanted to do... My sister (who is a hospice nurse in a different state) asked for emergency comfort medication In case my mother went in to respiratory distress.... The nurse said we're not there yet....The next day, my mother went in too respiratory distress.Where she was suffocating at home for 41 minutes before an ambulance showed up because we then took it into our own hands...My mother died at the hospital hours later....Hospice failed her...dont let then do the same to your family members!!!!

4 days with this Hospice and already failing my mother. First day meds were not ordered and filled for me to pick up the next day as stated. A few days later with my Mom not swallowing well they ordered liquid pain meds at 2 pm in the afternoon and made me destroy the oral pain killer that we did have on hand. Well now we have nothing and the liquid medicine has not even been called in. Second time in less then a week. The nurse did his job the Dr is obviously very sub par. And they want you to believe they care so much about you loved one, obviously not.

Waited for 3 hours at a Nursing Home for Funeral Home to pick up mother when she passed. We had been told by the hospice nurse that she would / had been in contact the Funeral Home per prior arrangements. After waiting so long, again I stress over 3 hours I contacted the Funeral Director directly. I was informed that they had not been contacted by the New Life nurse until just prior to my call. Seems the New Life nurse had forgotten to contact the Funeral Home as we had been previously told. Inexcusable.
