Nivalis Hospice

My experience with Nivalis Hospice was a very satisfying experience. The staff all showed empathy. My Mom was very well taken care of and they made sure she was comfortable all the way till the end. They guide me, directed me answer all my questions without hesitation. I lost my Mom in September 2024 and the staff still keep in touch with me to check in with me and my family. The Nivalis organization and staff are absolutely wonderful. I was going to interview several hospice companies for my dad, but after my meeting with Nivalis, I hired them on the spot and canceled the other interviews. The entire staff is great, but a special mention goes to Lori and Kim for the hands on care they provided to my parents who both passed in 2024. After we hired Nivalis to care for my dad in April, 2024, there was no doubt we would have them care for my mom if the need arose. It did in September, 2024 and they were again fabulous with my mom and my family. They are the most caring and compassionate people and kept us in the loop every step in the process. Several of them took the time to attend the funeral mass for my parents. I will also mention that Nivalis held a memorial service for the loved ones of those who died in 2024. I attended and am so glad I did - we prayed, told stories, cried and laughed. It was a wonderful way to understand grief and the different ways to handle it. Hospice isn't something any of us look forward to, however, if you have a loved one who needs hospice or palliative care Nivalis has my highest recommendation.
