With many years of clinical experience, I interviewed with Ohio Living while transitioning from subacute rehabilitation to home health. The interview was surprisingly unprofessional. The nurse manager was courteous and professional, but the rehabilitation manager joined the interview late, appeared frustrated that the interview had already begun, and adopted a condescending tone. Rather than learning about my qualifications, the discussion focused on assumptions about therapist productivity despite having no knowledge of my work ethic or clinical practice. Equally disappointing was the complete lack of follow up from either the recruiter or the company. A simple update regarding the hiring decision is a basic professional courtesy. Fortunately, I accepted another home health position, where I have had a very successful first year. Looking back, I believe they overlooked a highly experienced and ethical clinician. Their loss. My experience raised concerns about professionalism, communication, and organizational culture, and I hope it helps other therapists make an informed decision.

I have used both of Ohio Living's services, home health for my father and hospice for my mother. I have been, and continue to be, well-communicated with by the aides, therapists, nurses, social workers and chaplains, who are competent and great humans. I am thankful for their care of my treasured parents. Highly recommend.

Ohio Living Hospice services were amazing and helped us immensely through my Dads last phase. In the very end, they guided us how to ensure our Dad was comfortable and helped in that final last day.
