We choose to visit Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren County based on reviews. During our initial visit it felt warm and comfortable. One of the staff took the time to give us a tour and talked with us about the care and services that they provide. Of course we would rather have had mom at home but were unable to provide the care that she needed. If it weren't for the hospital bed, the room could have been a bedroom in someone's house. Clean, quiet and comfortable with birds right outside the window. The staff was amazing from the time mom arrived. The next morning when I came in, there was a small quilt on the bed. It was made in pastel colors and two corners had a small red heart. It couldn't have been more fitting for mom. She loved quilts. Each time one of the staff came in the room, they stated why they were there, asked if we had any questions and most importantly, "Do you need anything?" Yesterday, we received a sympathy card signed by the staff. What a nice kind gesture. I am so glad that we chose Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren County and would highly recommend them for hospice care.
This year has been hell for my sister and our family in general. A death in January, serious injury, health issues, and at the young age of 62, my sister's death on October 7th. It is this last event where we finally had peace. By October 1st, barring a miracle, we knew my sister did not have much time left. The kindness, attentiveness, professionalism, and gentleness shown by the caregivers to my dying sister and our family was phenomenal. The chaplain had such compassion and provided words of comfort and prayer on my sister's last day in this world. My siblings and I were all able to hold then release her as she took her last breath. I am forevermore grateful to the people of this facility. God's blessings on you and yours.
The best care for my son that I could ever imagine. The entire staff is attentive, caring, and on top of everything! The facility is beautiful and they think of everything to care for not just our loved one but our family. Thank you so much to the social worker, the aides, the nurses, the doctor, cleaning staff and security! ♥️♥️♥️
