Bristol Hospice - Eastern Oklahoma

Our experience with Bristol was limited as our family member passed within 24 hrs of signing on for service. Bristol was available for General Inpatient care in Northeastern Healthcare Systems hospital in Tahlequah, OK. They immediately presented as a faith-based service which we appreciated. The Dir. of Community Services seemed kind and the evaluations nurse seemed new and a little awkward; she didn’t know how to explain the documents she asked us to sign and referred us back to the Director. There was a delay in getting forms signed which seemed to present a problem with enrolling our family member but was resolved later that evening. The next day we were visited by a social worker who was friendly and chatted with us for a while. We had missed the nurse’s visit earlier. I will add that we weren’t exactly clear at that point about how and when services would be offered but then the Chaplain visited and prayed a powerful prayer for our family with our family member’s doctor present and shortly afterwards our family member passed. So our experience with Bristol was brief but compassionate. We are grateful for their hospice service and specifically for their Chaplain.

Bristol Hospice has been an amazing help in our time of need. The nurse and aid are both caring and professional in their work with us. Always willing to listen to our needs and asking if they can do more. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible!!!! For anyone needing help with home health or end of life care for a loved one highly recommend. They have been so amazing! Caring, attentive, available, knowledgeable. Cannot say enough wonderful things!
