I have worked in hospice for seven years and have several friends in the industry. I did my research before choosing Halo Hospice to care for my precious father after he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. When you work in hospice, you learn what truly matters—and Halo exceeded every expectation. They hit it out of the park in every single aspect of care. From the nurses and aides to the chaplain, social worker, and office staff, every person treated my dad—and our entire family—with compassion, dignity, and genuine love. They didn’t just care for a patient; they cared for all of us during the hardest season of our lives. I also love that they aren’t a large corporate company. Their owner lives right here in Ada, Oklahoma, and you can truly feel the difference. They are invested in this community and in the families they serve. Because of Halo, my dad was able to spend his final days surrounded by the people he loved, in the comfort of his own home, with peace and dignity. That is a gift our family will never forget. If I could give Halo Hospice more than five stars, I would. Thank you for loving my dad so well. We will be forever grateful.

I cannot express our gratitude and gratefulness enough. We are SO very blessed and thankful that God sent these sweet Angels to take care of my sweet Momma. Because of Halo Hospice, she was no longer in pain and everything was so much more peaceful from there on out. She passed peacefully at home Instead of struggling and the last conversation before passing was this. Aww mom you’re smiling. “I’m just so happy.” .. This was all thanks to Halo Hospice and wouldn’t have gone this way without them. They came in and took such great care of her and of all of us. We all felt so supported, loved, and cared about. There was never any judgment. Just unconditional love and support. They were available for anything at whatever times for even the smallest of things. They always encouraged reaching out. Loved that! They were always so sweet and kind about everything. This truly made the passing process more peaceful and doable for my sweet momma and all of us in the family. THANK YOU THANK YOU a million times over Halo Hospice!! You are all true Angels! You will always hold a special place in our hearts. It meant more to us than you all could ever know. Keep doing what you are doing because you are all true hero’s. Much love. Marcia Artherholt February 5, 1958 - January 30, 2025 - Laura Thomas

Carissa and Team have been a God Send! My brother is leaving this world in a matter of days. Their gentle kindness and wonderful service has been so helpful to our family in this time of great despair. They have complete attention to detail and what we have asked for, they have delivered at any hour of night. We greatly appreciate them—each and everyone. Highly recommend them for you and your loved ones in your time of need.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
