The care they provided to our mother was very nice and as much we wanted to give them 5 out of 5. The treatment towards one of our grieving family members was not good at all.... On June 27th, 2026, the employee in question was the late night nurse whose name will be partially concealed and will be referred to as WxxxY. She demonstrated a shocking lack of empathy, judgment, and common sense professionalism. A 2nd cot had been placed in the room, requiring a rearrangement of the furniture. After realizing the gurgling sounds from our dying loved one were too distressing to sleep through. A male relative politely explained that staying overnight would not work out. He asked if the furniture could be arranged back to its original position. Wxxxx became immediately defensive, stating there was nothing she could do to stop the gurgling sound. The relative already knew this, and was not asking her to do anything about it. He was simply trying to explain the situation. The relative also attempted to explain that the new furniture arrangement put him on the opposite side of the room from his sister. He wanted the couch back where it was so they could sit together. He began to say, "The couch was now on the opposite side of the TV with my sister..." Before he could finish his sentence, the nurse rudely interrupted him and snapped, "Well you’re not here for TV!" To be clear, our family spent those final hours crying, revisiting precious memories, and comforting our dying loved one. We occasionally turned on the TV for brief moments to catch our breath from the intense emotional weight of the impending reality. For a nurse with 2 decades of experience to weaponize a healthy, common coping mechanism and imply that we were "couch potatoes" who did not care about our dying relative is entirely unacceptable.

When my mother-in-law was transported to the hospice house, we never imagined that she would only spend four short hours there before peacefully passing away. While our time at the hospice house was brief, the care and compassion we experienced during those final hours will stay with our family forever. From the moment we arrived, Wendy welcomed us with genuine kindness, warmth, and empathy. She immediately put us at ease during one of the most heartbreaking and emotional moments of our lives. She never made us feel rushed or like we were just another family. Instead, she made us feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for. Wendy treated my mother-in-law with the utmost dignity and respect. Every interaction reflected her deep compassion, gentle spirit, and sincere commitment to providing comfort at the end of life. She understood that hospice care is about so much more than medical care—it is about preserving a person’s dignity while also caring for the loved ones gathered around them.

My step dad was here for a day and he passed. I had never experienced hospice care before. But this place exceeded every expectation. We were skeptical taking him from the hospital. But the nurses were extremely caring and available. He was a veteran and they gave him a veteran pin and a certificate. The chaplain came by several times and checked on us and prayed. The doctor was amazing. She took her time explaining everything and what to expect as we were entering the final stages. Staff was really kind and respectful. I'm sure it takes a special kind of person to work there too.
