What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
My wife, Bonnie, and I are so very thankful for the excellent and wonderful Health Care Professionals with Aveanna Hospice who treated Bonnie”s father, Bob Zortman, during his last 5 months until passing in June 2025. We especially appreciate Allie for her very special loving care of Bob to the very end. Allie went the extra mile through the whole process. We are so grateful for Allie, Tanya, Kenya, and Chaplain Joel.
We are so grateful for the outstanding care and support provided by Aveanna Hospice, especially our client’s social worker, Kenya. Her compassion, professionalism, and communication have been truly exceptional. Kenya consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our clients and their family feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. Her kindness and dedication shine through in every interaction, and it’s clear she truly has a heart for this work. Thank you, Kenya and the entire Aveanna Hospice team, for making such a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. We are proud to work alongside such a compassionate partner in care! —SYNERGY HomeCare
My mother-in-law was in home hospice care with Aveanna / Comfort Care from 2017 until she passed in 2024. Her nurse, Tonia, was with her through all her ups and downs, striking the right balance between what she needed and what she wanted. We live 1200 miles from Fairhope and aren't able to travel. Tonia was caring, dedicated, accessible, and gave us regular updates as my MIL approached and reached the end of her life. Thank you for making the journey with us and easing her transition.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
