About LifeTouch Health - Hot Springs

LifeTouch Health - Hot Springs is the Hot Springs office families turn to when hospice care needs to happen at home. A nurse, an aide, and a social worker visit the house. They help with comfort, medicines, and the practical questions that come up in a hard week. Care from this office is for families in Clark, Garland, Hot Spring, Montgomery, and Pike counties. It is a community nonprofit. This hospice program has served families since 1998. The office also offers palliative care for someone who is still treating the illness and is not yet on hospice. A children's hospice program is part of this organization's care, including for families who use this office. A family in Hot Springs can ask the office how care starts and what the team will do in the home.

My sister died yesterday. Two days in hospice. Got a call today from Arkansas Hospice wanting to get paid. We had literally just left the funeral home to make her final arrangements. When I said my sister just died yesterday, I was told "we still need to be paid." Heartless & cruel.

If I could change one thing about my Father's end of life care, I would have switched his hospice agency. There are some very good, kind, people that work there, but one hand can't clap. We felt neglected by this agency multiple times through out the process. The worst was at the end when they knew he was declining rapidly but did not bother to talk to the family about it. I felt abandoned by this company so many times, but my father was a quiet and kind man who did not want to bother people. Every time we were about to switch. They would come through and he would say "ok, let's keep them". But then when he passed there was nobody there for me or the rest of the family. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, choose a different company.

All they care about is reducing meds to nothing and pumping patients full of pain killers and diarrhettics. They accuse caregivers of theft, abuse, neglect when they are the one committing crimes. They coerce family members to blame people wrongfully and disrespect people. I would never put a family member in their care. They are the biggest joke I have ever seen. Please reconsider placing your loved one in their care. All they wanna do is kill them off quicker so they can move on to the next "victim". Nurses Yolanda and Barbara are the biggest jokes I've ever met. One of their aides that gives baths to patients Eddie is so aggressive it isn't funny. Social worker Diane unlawfully bullied people and assaults them. I was shoved by Diane when keeping her from photographing my license plate.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more.
