Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring
The Hadlow Center is Community Hospice’s own building for Jacksonville’s Southside and Mandarin, named for Earl B. Hadlow. Families use it when pain or symptoms cannot be managed at home. Rooms are private, and family can come at any hour and stay the night.
Anne and Donald McGraw Center for Caring
The McGraw Center is a hospice house of its own on the Mayo Clinic campus, not a room inside the hospital. Families from Mayo, Deerwood, Town Center, and the beaches use it for a short stay. Rooms are private, and someone can stay overnight.

Unfortunately I contracted with VITAS to start. It was a horrible experience. It was hard to get help when my husband needed it the most. Fortunately a friend reached out and recommended Community Hospice. I immediately switched and they were wonderful to work with. Everything was taken care of quickly, their hospice wing at Baptist South was beautiful and I never felt ignored. In fact, the nurse that was there the night he was admitted (Jake) was the first person to tell me what would be happening to my husband in his final days. I’d been asking everyone. I appreciated his candor and support. I highly recommend Community Hospice!
The care at Earl B. Harlow center was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly respectful, attentive, and compassionate throughout our time there. The facility itself was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and comforting environment. We are so grateful that my dad was in such good hands during the last four days of his life. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and dedication, you made a difficult time a little easier for our family. Highly recommend!
