I urged my mother to look into hospice while my grandmother was dying, and honestly we could NOT have chosen better people to help us with her end of life care. Jade was our RN and she was simply outstanding in all areas- and I'm a hard sell. Jade treats patients as people, not just another stop, and the way she collaborated within our family dynamic was exactly what we needed. Jade really took the time to get to know my Nana and understand her wishes at the beginning, and she continued to provide the care that they agreed upon right to the very end. She always used my Nana's name when speaking about and with her, and loved to talk about her with us in the final visits. She encouraged us to be flexible as the treatments changed and Nana's condition declined, and was also instrumental in facilitating the family's discordance when it occurred- always keeping my Nana's wishes at the center of her guidance. She was honest without being harsh, and knew exactly what we needed to hear- the truth, served with care and love. Our appointments were never rushed, even when we had numerous questions. She never made us feel like we were keeping her. She never made us feel like our questions were silly or unrelated. It would be an absolute honor to be cared for by Jade. I only got to meet our social worker, Morgan, once, but she was also very helpful, kind, and caring in handling our family during these fragile moments. And though I wasn't here to meet most of the aids or volunteers, I just want to reiterate that every single person who walked through our door these last few weeks has been nothing short of kind, loving, caring, and genuine, and has left a lifelong impression on my family. After my Nana passed, Jade still reached out to check in with us. Morgan also reminded us that EHC provides services for our bereaved family for at least 13 months after her passing. I will encourage my mom to use these services and, because our experience was so exceptional, I think she actually will. I'm not sure why there are so few reviews here, but I really wanted to take the time, even during my own grief, to tell other people how truly phenomenal our care was. I've had enough experience in the medical realm to know that these types of caregivers are sadly becoming a rarity. Not this team. I hope that everyone who has to go through this awful experience has a team as caring, concerned, and loving pass through their doors. You all have FAR exceeded any expectations we ever had for hospice. And you all have changed our lives for the better. Thank you.

A huge thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice. Hospice and the passing of a loved one is never easy but Heidi and the team provided much needed support, respect, and compassion while my father was hospitalized. They were there for us immediately after he passed and months after to follow up. The genuine care of this team will restore your faith in humanity. I cannot thank you enough.
