Kristen Thomason has been caring for my Dad for many months until he was recently placed in a nursing home. He was so happy when we told him she would continue caring for him at the nursing home too. She takes great pride in her work, always on time and has such a passion for caring for her patients. We love her and highly recommend her to anyone in need of care. She has quickly become a part of our family and we are so blessed to have her during this journey. We couldn't do it without her.

I am compelled to share my unfavorable experience with Emerald Coast Hospice, advising potential clients to exercise caution when considering their services. It has taken me almost seven months to gather my thoughts and emotions regarding the care provided to my Mom. As her dedicated caregiver and advocate, I attended to her needs 24/7 at home. The hospice team's conduct almost led to devastating consequences before the six-month period. Despite my non-medical background, I alerted two nurses to my concerns, but they relied on the doctor's evaluation. A subsequent hospital visit confirmed my suspicions. The hospital stay lasted ten days, during which my Mom developed severe health issues requiring multiple medications due to the team's lack of attention. The care was minimal, with bi-weekly visits for vital checks. Nicole, the case manager, displayed a demeanor that was off-putting. When I reached out to the doctor for medical guidance via text, I was deemed rude by Nicole. The doctor's offer to visit and provide advice was not reflected in the actual care provided. Ultimately, my Mom passed away, and I was left without support aside for me. The company's service fell short in numerous ways.

Emerald coast has been a true blessing to our family they have the most loving compassionate nurses (angels on earth) is what I call them . McKenzie is our family’s nurse and she is absolutely a God sent to our family. She shows such professionalism but also is so kind and compassionate she feels like family! I would gladly refer her and emerald coast hospice to anyone. They are truly there for people in the hardest situation someone can go through losing a loved one!! McKenzie is a rock star nurse and I hope that she knows how much we truly value her I truly don’t know what we would do without her. Thank you McKenzie and Emerald Coast for all you do!!
