My father was under Emerald Coast Hospice's care following release by Covenant Hospice at a time when he was bedridden and unable to walk on his own or move to a chair without assistance, because they felt he was no longer declining although what I saw daily said he was. He had suffered a stroke years earlier and after an almost full recovery and several good years, he began to decline steadily, but slowly. Emerald Coast staff were professional, loving and gentle with my father and our family. They stepped right in and gave my father the care he needed and deserved, which at times was above and beyond what I expected after having been with Covenant for over a year. It is one of the hardest things you can do, having to make the decision about care for a loved one, but being able to keep my father at home, in familiar surroundings where family and friends could come by and visit, was the right decision for us. Having Emerald Coast Hospice with us until he passed in November 2024, was by far the best circumstances we could have had. I am just getting around to writing this review, because I've not been able to do so before and do it justice. I want to thank all the Staff at Emerald Coast Hospice Marianna for your care of and kindness to my father, myself and my family. We were truly blessed when you stepped in to take care of my dad! I highly recommend Emerald Coast Hospice Marianna for anyone in need of Hospice Services.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section.
