⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care and Compassion Our experience with Gentiva Hospice in Daytona Beach, Florida, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, the entire team provided compassionate, professional, and deeply supportive care during one of the most difficult times for our family. A special thank you to Tamara, the social worker, who was truly phenomenal and absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly present for our family from start to finish. Tamara guided us through every step with patience, kindness, and genuine care, making sure we understood everything and felt supported along the way. Her dedication made a meaningful difference in our experience. She holds a special place in our hearts and in our family. The medical team and nursing staff were incredible—professional, gentle, and always responsive to our needs. The physical therapist was also wonderful and played an important role in providing care and support. The CNA staff showed such compassion and respect, treating our loved one with dignity and kindness during every home visit. The chaplain provided comforting spiritual support that meant so much to our family during this emotional journey. Every member of the Gentiva team worked together seamlessly, and it was clear that they truly care about the families they serve. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication brought comfort and peace to our family when we needed it most. We are deeply grateful for the care and support we received and would highly recommend Gentiva Hospice in Daytona Beach to any family needing hospice services. They truly go above and beyond. Thank you for everything. 💙

DO NOT use this company for Hospice. Their “nurse” Cathy had no compassion for my dying father or family. She repeatedly ignored our concerns for my father continuing to be in pain, did not order critical medical equipment for his care, and lied about my father’s biometrics to avoid sitting with him as he passed. My father could no longer swallow and it took days for them to provide pain medicine that actually helped him. When we called to speak to Cathy’s supervisor, she excused her behaviors and had to clean up the mess she made. This experience was traumatizing and heartbreaking enough, this company should be ashamed of the “care” that Cathy provided.

I have the unfortunate situation of being in a health condition that leads me to this review site. There are good days and not so good days. The only thing that makes it worse is lousy healthcare. Fortunately I am working with a few individuals at this company who actually care and make my life easier. I want to thank Chris, Caroline and Tammy with Gentiva for making my life easier. They lift my spirits and make this part of my life smoother. Thank you again for everything
