Gentiva Hospice, Edia Matos, and all of the hard working staff provided exceptional care to our Aunt. The staff is professional and caring. I highly recommend Gentiva Hospice to any family searching for care for their love ones.

If I could give negative stars I would. Coming from a registered nurse who has had to endure not only one of my own family members have a terrible experience with hospice but have to be support for someone who had a family member recently be put on THIS hospice who was completely and utterly a disgrace to the healthcare profession, lacks integrity, compassion, respect, and one of the most important things we learn in nursing school… do no harm. THIS hospice agency is terrible do not use them, they will intentionally kill your family member, not show up when they are supposed to be there, not show family members of the patient or even the patient compassion or empathy, and will gruesomely speak to family members as if their loved one is just spoiled garbage that needs to be taken to the trash can. I have never heard someone so rudely address a patients family member with the distract AND the lies that were told as I have with this situation. I’m sorry but this hospice is absolutely trash and it should be gone and not a choice offering to families. How dare you speak to family members how you have, how dare your nurses not speak to the PATIENTS, how dare you basically break every rule of being in healthcare. Karma will come back around and don’t think for one moment that it won’t. Business is looking a bit dry and modeled I think that if it’s not gone by tomorrow I think it needs to be moved…. I can’t wait to find out which nurse exactly took care of her family member so then I can make a proper report on her license and report this agency for the mass amount of medication wanting to forcefully be pushed upon the patient when not needed, hospice is comforting those during the time of transition NOT forcefully overmedicating patients to quicken the death. I just cannot fathom what else has been done to these poor families and patients knowing what I know about this company and this nurse as of now. It’s a shame a company like you exists.
