My brother received excellent care here. Anytime I was concerned there was a nurse or a doctor available to answer my questions or attend to the needs of my brother. He was kept comfortable which was of the utmost importance. I've thought of moving to Florida so that when my time comes I can be here

Our friend passed away on March 19th, they were a great help and we thank them but they are quick to cut off their disability checks before the family has time to get the money off of their card and all by notify social security of their passing. Be careful people. At least the one in Lake city gave us 2 weeks to get the money off my husband's dad's direct express card before they closed it and they never shut off his EBT card after he passed away. I just checked it the other day and it's still active and he passed away 6 years ago. Mr. Hall gave my husband permission to use both of his cards before he died and told him to get the money off of his direct express card. These people knew that we were dealing with alot plus notifying family members of his passing so they could have given us some time before they notified the social security office and the department of children and families of his passing to get the funds from his direct express card and to use up the remainder of his EBT benefits before making the notification. All they are about is drugging up the patient so they don't recognize the family once they come on board and they are dead within a few days and that's what happened to our friend and that's what happened to my husband's dad 6 years ago, they put him into a coma and he died 2 days later at hca lake city hospital.

Every worker and volunteer made us feel special like family not just the patient. It truly is a great place with a view for every room.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
