My mother was a patient recently and the care she received was nothing like I have ever seen. Upon arrival she was immediately bathed, which made her smell so heavenly, and placed in a super soft gown which smelled amazing as well. We were both treated with such kindness and respect the entire time we were there. After my mother passed, the staff bathed her again and gave me quiet time which I will always cherish. I didn't know that the staff use their own money to purchase Bath and Body products, so if you are able to donate, please do! This is the most wonderful place even in one's hour of darkness.
My Grandmother was here for 13 days after an alzheimer's related fall that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. The staff was amazing! They showed her so much compassion even though she was at the end of her life. They were amazing to our whole family while we where there. I can't thank them enough.
Was pretty happy with in home care where I could properly take care of my dad with their assistance. The nurse that came to our house was actually super sweet and great with him. Leaving him at the care center was the biggest mistake I will ever make. The care center was not caring and he died pretty much instantly there. Treated very cold/ignored when he passed and they were knocking on the door for their equipment back the very next day. My father trusted me and I trusted you. I failed and regret it every day. I don’t recommend Haven Hospice of Lake City.
