The González family would like to express our gratitude for Jenny from Team 303 , she is an exceptional nurse who demonstrates tremendous passion and dedication toward her patients. She is highly professional, always going above and beyond to ensure her patients receive the best possible care. Jenny consistently makes sure everything is completed properly and in a timely manner. Her compassion, reliability, and commitment truly make a difference, and there are not enough words to express how appreciated she iS.

I don't know what my family would have done without the support of the incredible Vitas team during my mom's last three months of her life. Overall, they helped my mom be as comfortable as possible as she endured pancreatic cancer. And they were so kind, caring, and understanding throughout the process. In particular, I'd like to acknowledge nurse Bonnie who gave so much of herself to mom and so much of her time to mom and me on our many calls. Without Bonnie I couldn't have completed the painful and very long "assessment" call with the insurance company that she skillfully navigated us through. I also appreciate that she kept mom on even after she was assigned to a different teams. Thank you for being so great to my mom. Also thank you to Millie who helped me in the early days with various paperwork I needed completed; thank you to Dr Grenn for visiting mom and prescribing the medicine that helped her endure the disease; and thank you to social worker Rachel who brought great energy and suggestions for exercises in the early days. Lastly, I'd like to acknowledge Chaplain Susan who helped me with several logistical items and was so great about calling to check in on my emotional state, including just recently seven weeks after mom has passed. How thoughtful! The VITAS team was wonderful and we felt very lucky to have your support. Mom asked me several times how are we paying these people? :). Thank you all!

Could not ask for more caring associates. They are truly a gift as we have experienced another Hospice that could not do all that VITAS has been able to accomplish for us. Highly reccomend

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more.
