VITAS Healthcare - Lecanto

In May of this year my mother, C. White, suffered a stroke and soon after was admitted to Vitas Hospice facility in Lecanto Florida. The facility was wonderful, private rooms and a very attentive, caring and professional staff. My mother received top notch care and the staff even made sure family members were made comfortable. When she passed peacefully, the staff were very helpful in making further arrangements and to this day will follow up with family members regarding bereavement. Highly recommended for peace of mind for loved ones requiring the needs of a Hospice facility.

We are incredibly grateful to VITAS In-Home Healthcare for the compassionate care they provided to my husband in his final days. His wish was to pass peacefully at home, and their team went above and beyond to make that possible, ensuring he was comfortable every step of the way. Not only did they provide exceptional medical care, but they also offered much-needed emotional support to both him and our family during such a difficult time. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism meant more to us than words can express. Thank you to the entire VITAS team for helping us honor his wishes and for treating our family with such dignity and compassion. We will always be thankful.

My husband was in Hospice at home. We choose Vitas as our caregivers group. Every single person that made contact with my husband and myself treated us with the utmost respect.
