I cannot say enough good things about Affinity Hospice and the care they provided for my mother during the most difficult time of our lives. From the very beginning, their team treated my mom with dignity, compassion, and genuine kindness, and they supported our family in ways that went far beyond medical care. The nurses, especially Melanie and Laura, were consistently professional, attentive, and deeply caring. My mother was also blessed to have Heather as her nurse, who formed such a meaningful and special connection with her. Heather was warm, patient, easy to talk to, and truly present with my mom in a way that brought her comfort and peace. It was clear how much she cared, and that relationship meant everything to us. Our hospice aide, Shannon, was absolutely wonderful. She helped my mom with personal care and showers, always with gentleness, respect, and a calming presence. Shannon treated my mother like family, and her kindness made such a difference during a vulnerable time. I am also incredibly grateful for the leadership and support from Morgan and Nicole, whose compassion and professionalism set the tone for the entire organization. Jonathan, the chaplain, provided thoughtful spiritual support, and Katie, the social worker, was kind, understanding, and supportive when we needed guidance and reassurance. Affinity Hospice truly became part of our family. Knowing my mother was receiving such attentive, loving care allowed us to focus on being with her instead of worrying. We are especially grateful that Emory Hospital is affiliated with and referred us to Affinity Hospice, because it led us to a team that made an unbearable situation more manageable through their care and humanity. If you are facing the heartbreaking decision of hospice care for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Affinity Hospice. They provide comfort, dignity, and extraordinary care when it matters most, and I will always be thankful for what they did for my mother and for us.

My mom started the hospice home care with Affinity since October 28th of this year. She had the staff come to her house and they gave her excellent care. They have been very supportive and compassionate about what my mom and the family were going through. The staff's names are- Laura as RNCM, Heather as RN, Katie as social worker, Neika and Shannon as HHA, and Jonathan as chaplain. They all deserve my family's deepest appreciation and respect for their dedication, compassion and professionalism. Sadly, my mom passed away on the 23rd of December, two days before Christmas. Thanks to you all.

As I reflect upon this journey which my mom and I are on, I'm reminded that God sends us family, friends and support in a plethora of ways exactly when it is needed. My mom has been with Affinity Hospice for a while now. Affinity Hospice has become family. I can't say enough about the love, care, and support shown us. The professional and compassionate staff are exceptional! They are truly doing the lord's work daily. Heather, mom's admission nurse, is an absolute gem! A new friend who has been with me every step of the way. She has truly become like family. She has wiped my tears, eased my fears, given hugs, helped me get respite, and continues to guide me as I learn how to support my mom thru these last stages of her life. Laura, mom's RNCM and Kim, her LPN, are amazing people! They truly care. Mom's HHA, Sophiann, has been a God send. Her calm, gentle, and loving disposition has been so comforting for both mom and I. I reflect upon the phrase "it takes a villiage to raise a child." Similarily, a village is needed at the end of life's journey. Affinity Hospice has become that "village" for us. So, if/when you find yourself in need of support for your loved one, Affinity Hospice is the place.
