What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
Amanda and Meesha have been a blessing to our family.
Working with Compassus was my first experience with hospice care, and I have nothing but good things to say about the care given to my dad. Everyone we worked with was so patient and understanding. I truly felt that they understood the difficulty in the decisions we were having to make, and from the first conversation with Laurie, I felt truly heard and understood, and that my family and I were given the time to think things through without feeling rushed or pressured. Nurses Ellen and Kelsey both took truly great care of my dad. The care and compassion shown to him was truly touching. They both took their time on each and every visit and patiently answered every question we had. We also had some visits with Jenny, and I can say that she was also always caring and patient. When the nurses are apologizing to the patient because of the pain they are feeling, you know they truly care. We had to call multiple times with questions and needed extra visits during the few weeks my dad was with Compassus, and every time those calls were handled efficiently, and each time a visit was required, we never felt like it was an inconvenience, even on the weekends and after hours. I also cannot say enough good things about his CNA, Carletta. The level of care and compassion she showed in caring for him was top notch. My dad was the type of person who often liked to pick on people, especially if he liked you. He was often grumpy with Carletta, and she lovingly and jokingly gave it right back to him! All of these women are truly angels on earth, and I could not have been more pleased with the care my dad received.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Compassus Hospice Care in Fayetteville. From the moment Mama was admitted until the morning she passed away, she was surrounded by genuine kindness, compassion, and love. Every single person who cared for her treated her with dignity and respect, and that meant everything to our family. The nurses were absolutely amazing. Ellen, Brittany, Elise, Alana, and Coleen consistently went above and beyond. They never rushed their visits, always asked if we had any concerns, and took the time to sit with us and answer every question we had. Their professionalism and heartfelt care brought us so much comfort during an incredibly difficult time. The CNAs were equally wonderful. Twiggy and Coletta treated Mama as if she were their own mother. They hugged her, sat beside her holding her hand, and truly connected with her. Twiggy would even kiss Mama on the cheek before leaving. Mama loved the attention and affection they gave her, and those moments genuinely brightened her day. Whenever we needed supplies, the office made sure they were delivered the very same day. Every time we called, the staff was polite, caring, and always asked how Mama was doing and if there was anything else we needed. Rev. Amanda King came and prayed with Mama, offering spiritual comfort and kindness. She also made sure we knew she was there for us if we needed anything at all. The company that provided the medical equipment was also outstanding—respectful, prompt, and reliable. If equipment was requested in the morning, it arrived that same afternoon. I would wholeheartedly recommend Compassus Hospice Care to anyone in need of hospice services. They cared for Mama with love, compassion, and dignity, and our family will forever be grateful. Merrie C.
