Empyrean Hospice of Georgia - Augusta

Our family had an extremely disappointing and painful experience with this hospice care. Communication was poor, and we often felt that our concerns were not heard or taken seriously. Despite repeatedly raising concerns about our loved one’s condition and needs, we did not feel that the appropriate attention or communication was provided. During an already heartbreaking time, our family needed compassion, responsiveness, and clear communication from the hospice team. Instead, we were left feeling unheard, unsupported, and frustrated. Ultimately, our family member passed away, and we are left with serious concerns and unanswered questions about the care they received. Hospice care is supposed to provide comfort and support not only to the patient but also to their family. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We hope this feedback encourages the organization to take family concerns more seriously and improve communication and accountability.

These folks go above & beyond. They truly care about not only their patients but their family/caregivers as well. You could not ask for any better. They were so thorough in the care but also in making sure you understood what to expect & prepare for. Made us feel 100% comfortable and at ease asking them anything. THANK YOU!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Empyrean Hospice. During my mother’s final days, they provided the most compassionate, gentle, and attentive care we could have ever hoped for. Every member of their team treated my mom—and our entire family—with kindness, respect, and love, as if we were their own family. Their professionalism was matched only by their warmth and sincerity. They were there for us every step of the way, offering support, comfort, and guidance when we needed it most. It takes special people to do this work, and they truly have an incredible team. If you are looking for hospice care for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend them. They could not have been any better. We are forever grateful.
