Our mom's care for COVID in the hospital was pretty good, but the "rehab" she went to after was awful. She lost 30 lbs and came home bedridden, instead of having recovered some of the limited mobility she had prior to COVID. We did not want her in another "facility" following that awful rehab experience, and opted to care for her in her independent living apartment. She wasn't even up to "home health care" that usually follows a rehab stay. She came out of rehab with bed sores and other issues that required careful medical attention. My sister moved into mom's tiny apartment and cared for our mom 24/7. There is no way in the world she could have done it without the support of Guardian Angels! From arranging immediate delivery of a hospital bed, oxygen machine, wheelchair and other medical equipment, to delivering prescriptions and providing excellent nursing care for her sores and other issues, Guardian Angels was awesome. I wish mom's insurance would cover it forever! I hope we don't need it again but if we do, we know who to call. Tamekia, Erica, Winslow and everyone else there who had their hands on our mom, THANK YOU!!

On behalf of our family we want to thank Guardian Angels Hospice care for saving my 87 year old mother's life! Our mother survived the Covid virus but what nearly killed her was the neglect and poor health care she received after ! By the grace of God we were put in contact with Guardian Angels Hospice Care. They hit the ground running to save my mom! She was covered in bed sores and had lost all her strength to even sit up in bed ! From day one they provided everything we needed to help her regain the quality of life she deserved ! We still have a long road ahead but we couldn't have made it this far with them! Within the first days of being under their care , they immediately treated her bedsores and several other issues that she caused her a great deal of pain. Their staff is absolutely amazing and top notch on every level. From daily baths to regulating her meds ECT.... She has regained so much strength and quality of life....her faith and trust in healthcare providers has been restored! The highlight of her day is when their staff arrives to take care of her. They are professional yet so compassionate to all her needs. A special thank you to Winslow, Erica, Shalunda and last but not least Tamika who makes it all happen!
