Hospice Care Options was a blessing to our Mother Nellie Hencley and a blessing to the family . We was with them for 1 year. All the employees was loved by her and the family. If they sent someone she didn't like, she didn't hesitate to tell them. We highly recommend Hospice Care Options to anyone who has a need for them. They was a great help to her and the family.

Using Hospice Care Options for my loved one was a blessing to our family. From nursing visits, to personal aide visits, to social worker visits, to chaplain visits, each person that came in to our home cared for and about us. When my husband went on Hospice, I didn't know what to do. I had no one local I could turn to, who I could talk with, I felt so alone and afraid. Neither Jim nor I wanted him to be in a facility, I wanted him at home. The Hospice Staff was wonderful from the first person I spoke with to the nurses who helped care for Jim. They completely understood and helped me provide the quality and quantity of care Jim needed. Hospice provided a hospital bed so Jim could sleep more comfortably and still have his TV when he wanted. His "cat" would sleep on the end of the bed to keep Jim company too. I was always right there for him, and so was the Hospice Team. For those brief 3 weeks, I felt like I had developed a new family. Jim looked forward to their visits too. He was a character and made them laugh! Then I met Chaplain Lisa. I know I was not her only responsibility, but she made me feel like I was. I quickly felt she was a friend as well as my link to accepting the inevitable. Yes, Jim passed on June 22, 2024. Hospice helped me through the whole process and Chaplain Lisa was right there for me each and every time I needed to cry. I do have a gift of gab but she let me talk until I couldn't talk anymore. If not for the Hospice Team, I would have lost my mind. Although it's been 18 months, I still cry and still miss my husband. I know Chaplain Lisa is still there for me, just a phone call away.
